Forging Friendships Friday Meetup [One Round] ✨ Next Gen✨

$75.00

Forging Friendships (F²) ‘Next Gen' online meetup is starting up next week.

F² Next Gen is a community of spellers aged 8 to 12 from all corners of the world, brought together by our common passion for communication through spelling and typing.

Our group was initiated by a dedicated speller in Tampa Bay, Florida, with the sole purpose of fostering connections and inclusivity. Whether you're already proficient on the letter boards or just starting out, you're welcome to join us in our weekly meet-ups where we chat, laugh, create, and advocate together.

Here's a glimpse of what you can expect:

* Weekly 30-minute sessions

* All participants keep their audio on mute, and communication happens through the chat box

* A moderator reads aloud the comments typed by CRPs in the chat

* Video participation is optional for each speller

* Conversations are speller-driven, and there's no fixed lesson plan

* Everyone is encouraged to participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable

Even if a speller is not open or fluent yet, their CRP can communicate that in the chat box, ensuring a supportive environment for everyone. Some spellers have transitioned from listeners to open spellers, sharing that being part of the FF group was motivating in their practice.

About the moderator:

Meet Joy Schneider-Scheu, a dedicated Spelling to Communicate (S2C) Practitioner and a mother of three spellers. With a unique talent for assisting apraxic individuals in developing purposeful motor skills for everyday activities, Joy is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those she works with.

If you're interested in joining our 'Next Gen' group, we meet every Friday from 2:30-3pm Eastern Time. You can register for the group here, choosing between a one-time 8-week round or a convenient monthly subscription that you can cancel anytime.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you'd like more information. We look forward to welcoming you to our growing community of spellers!
