Looking to make new friends that communicate just like you? If so, you have found your crew! We are an eclectic group of teens + young adults from all around the globe that spell and/or type as a means of communication. We meet up once a week to chat, laugh, create & advocate together.

Forging Friendships – a special initiative ignited by a passionate speller right here in the heart of Tampa Bay, Florida! Our vision is simple yet profound: to connect and build genuine friendships among peers, where inclusion and connection stand as our guiding stars.

In this community, we understand that everyone is on their unique journey. Whether you're confidently expressing yourself on letter boards or taking your time to embrace that aspect, you are warmly welcomed. Inclusion is not just a priority; it's our foundation.

Our meet-ups are the heartbeat of Forging Friendships, offering three opportunities to connect, share, and grow together. For teens and young adults, join us every Monday at 1 pm EST and every Tuesday at 7 pm EST on Zoom. For our youngest spellers aged 8-12, Wednesday afternoons from 5 pm to 5:30 pm ET are dedicated to fostering connections and building friendships.
